mike sayenko smallIn 2009, Mike continued to improve at a range of distances, running personal best times in the 1500, 3K, 5K, 10K, 12K, 15K, Ten Miles, Half Marathon and Marathon. On 10/10/10, he ran another marathon PR at the Chicago Marathon (2:14:27),finishing 10th overall in a world-class field and 2nd American.

When he is not training, racing or coaching, Mike works as a graphic designer for Sayenko Design. He is a 2007 graduate of the University of Washington where he studied Art, Art History and Design. He volunteers his time as a coach for the “Marathon Club” of a local elementary school. His program encourages young athletes to run 1-3 miles twice a week until the total reaches 26.2 miles.

Matt Sheeks

Endurance sports junkie Matt Sheeks grew up in the bicycle racing world, riding the road and track in high school. He transitioned to distance running in college, and ran under Coach Rob Conner at the University of Portland. The Portland Pilots were 9th in the 2005 Division 1 National-Cross Country Championships when Matt was on the varsity team. His PRs on the track are 3:50 for 1500m, 14:04 for 5000m, and 29:14 for 10000m. Now he is combining his two greatest sporting passions, running and cycling, while adding swimming. He lives and trains in beautiful sunny Woodinville, Washington. Matt works for Athletes in Action at University of Washington, a Christian sports ministry helping athletes to grow in their faith. Steidl`s previous coaching experiences came as assistant track and cross country coach at Edmonds-Woodway HS, where he was also teaching honors and IB/AP chemistry. He has been a coach/counselor at the White Pass Cross Country camp for the past 15 years and at the Falcon Cross Country camp from 2003-2005.

Daniel Harm

Dan Harm thumbSince Dan was a 5-year-old boy, riding bicycles gave him boundless energy a positive release.

At 14-years-old he started working at bike shops and was officially inducted into the cycling tribe.
Autonomy converted Cycling into Adventure when Dan turned 19 and, in the dead of winter, he hit the road with nothing but his bicycle, a small map, & ten bucks. He was serendipitously introduced to bike racing at 21 while working at a local bike shop.
