Ryan Hoisington, an ACE certified trainer, has excelled in the personal training and fitness industry for over 10 years. He is actively involved in individual and organized team sports for as long as he can remember. He eagerly began his career in multiple areas of sports & fitness, ranging from Physical Education teacher and Coach to a Mixed Martial Arts instructor. He established himself as one of the elite trainers and fitness instructors in the Seattle area, moving on to become a top instructor.

Since 2003, Ryan has been the sole proprietor of his own personal training company, “Rapid Performance Training”. Today, in addition to his private one-on-one training clientele, he referees MMA fights, coaches MMA fighters, and is an instructor for group classes. He is also a Coach for grades K-12 wrestling programs resulting in 6 time middle school champions within the Bellevue and Mercer Island school districts.

For Ryan, fitness is a lifestyle. He loves to teach and encourage everyone around him. One of his greatest accomplishments was climbing to the peak of Mt .Kilimanjaro, the tallest free standing mountain in the world. He still makes sure to take time out for himself to hike, kayak and fish.

Ryan’s innovative training combines functional and traditional methods with your own personal interests. With this unique method, your workout will always be fun and exciting. Non- repetitive but challenging training indoors or outdoors. With Ryan’s training you will not only meet your goals but exceed them for life.

Instructor Jonette’s Bio

Jonette is a recent transplant to Seattle from New York. She studied at NYC’s Swedish Institute School of Massage Therapy and graduated in 2001. In 2003 she studied Thai massage in Chiang Mai, Thailand under the guidance of Therdchai Chumphoopong. Jonette is also a professional dancer, aerialist, Gyrotonic Instructor and Yoga Instructor. She studied yoga at Yogapoint/ Yoga Vidya Gurukul in Trimbak, Maharastra, India in 2009. As a professional dancer in NYC, she had the privilege to perform as a soloist with the Metropolitan Opera and the afro-contemporary company Forces of Nature Dance Theatre.

Suspension Training

Born in the Navy SEALs, Suspension Training bodyweight exercise develops strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. It requires the use of the TRX Suspension Trainer, a highly portable performance training tool that leverages gravity and the user’s body weight to enable hundreds of exercises for every fitness goal.

Elizabeth Andrews

TRX Trainer/ Seattle Clinic
Elizabeth Andrews graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Public Health Education specializing in Health Promotion and Wellness. During her senior year in college, Elizabeth began teaching aerobics, an exploding fitness craze. It wasn’t long before she was hooked and she began competing in national aerobics championships. Elizabeth also traveled around the southeast presenting master classes. She now brings over 25 years of experience and boundless energy to her class rooms and clients.

Elizabeth has held a variety of positions while working in the Health and Fitness Industry: Fitness Director, Club Educator, Spinning Coordinator, Group Exercise Manager, Sales, Motivational Speaker, Corporate Instructor, Fitness Modeling, Educator for Southern College and Bellevue Community College, Regional Aerobic Presenter, Fitness Consultant for TBS Superstation, NBC, CBS affiliates in both Atlanta, GA. and Chattanooga, TN. Elizabeth was chosen as “One of Atlanta’s Top Spin Instructors” by Ultimate Health and Fitness Guide in Atlanta. She also dabbles in acting and performed with a local Improv Troupe, the Nines.

Elizabeth continues to pursue excellence by attending several workshops and conferences yearly. She created her training class, PUSH as a means to incorporate multiple fitness disciplines into one comprehensive class. She encourages her clients to PUSH through the discomfort of challenge. She believes that, as in life, we all have to push through something every day and the gym is one place it begins.

Elizabeth is certified through ACSM, ACE, AFAA, Mad Dogg Athletics, creator of Spinning, TRX-STC, Trekking, ISCA Kickboxing and is a member of IDEA and NSCA. She is extremely honored to be a part of the education team with TRX as a course instructor for the STC’s.

 

Hatha Yoga - 90 min

A practice of various body postures (asanas) designed to improve health and remove
diseases in the physical body. The regular practice of asanas will grant the practitioner
muscle flexibility and bone strength, as well as non-physical rewards such as the
development of will power and concentration. This is a great class for those new to yoga.

Vinyasa Yoga – 90 min

A specialized style of Hatha Yoga based on breath-synchronized movement through
traditional yoga postures creating a flowing focused practice. Each class will include a
series of sun salutations. Attention is placed on the journey between postures as well as
proper alignment.

Level 1 for Vinyasa beginners, is a slower paced class where each pose and sequence will be
explained in detail.

Level 2 has a quicker pace and offers a more vigorous and physically demanding practice.
More advanced poses are introduced. Some yoga experience suggested.

Mixed level for practitioners of any level. Modifications of postures will be offered to
challenge more experienced practitioners as well as simplifications for those with less
experience.

Ballet Barre – 60 min

Based on classical ballet. We will focus on specificity of movement and proper alignment.
This class will help with balance and core stabilization. No dance or ballet experience
necessary.

Dance Workout – 60 min

A full body movement class based on contemporary modern dance. Beginning with a
comprehensive warm up including strength and coordination exercises, and culminating
in a dance combination with fun music. This class will really get you moving, encourage a
sense a rhythm, and increase body awareness. No dance experience necessary.

Workshop – 90 min

Once a week we will focus on a specific body part that may need a little extra attention
due to injury, overuse, or tension. We’ll explore techniques for strengthening as well as
increasing flexibility and fluidity in specific joints or areas of the body.
