Dr. Scott Hammons | Clinic Director

Dr. Scott Hammons began his studies in Physical Therapy at Eastern Washington State University. He then switched gears and decided to enter into the field of Chiropractic. After receiving his doctorate from Palmer West Chiropractic College in 1998, Dr. Hammons opened Elite Sports and Spine in 1999.

With sports injuries as his primary focus, Dr. Hammons became one of the team doctors for the Arthritis Foundation and the Leukemia Society, overseeing all the marathon runners and walkers. He has treated hundreds of marathon runners, walkers, triathletes, cyclists, high school and professional athletes. He attributes his success in treating injuries to his diverse background in chiropractic, physical therapy and massage therapy.

Dr. Hammons is certified in Active Release Techniques, Cold Laser Therapy and Functional Muscle Therapy. He also utilizes Graston Technique and Kinesio Taping in his treatments.

Dr. Hammons is married with three children and is an avid swimmer, cyclist and runner.

The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame; in diet, and in cause prevention of disease.
